Associate – London (German, Italian or Spanish speaking)

The Role
We are seeking an Associate who speaks German, Italian or Spanish to work in our London office. This is a new position, created in response to increasing demand for work that requires these language skills.
The role of the Associate is to identify, retrieve and analyse information, presenting it in writing, charts or tables that form part of reports and client briefings produced by the wider team.
Associates use databases, advanced online research techniques and interviews to gather data. You will carry out intensive research and analysis of large amounts of data, assessing it for accuracy, reliability and relevance. Sources will include media reporting, court filings, company registers and many more. Supported and supervised by project managers, you will produce high quality written analysis that meets the needs of our world-class clients.
Depending on levels of experience, you may identify and recommend new information sources and research techniques, and gain exposure to business development and proposal-writing.

The Requirements
You will have the following qualifications and skills:
A university degree. Graduates in humanities, politics, economics, journalism etc. are welcomed.
Fluency in English. Extremely strong English-language writing skills are essential.
Fluency in at least one of German, Spanish, or Italian.
Curiosity and critical mindset. The desire to get to the bottom of complex issues and explain them well to clients.
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritise workload and work under pressure.
Ability to work as part of a multinational team of colleagues, including in other countries.
1-3 years of working experience in a relevant industry or position.
